Training data and source definitions
Current training data are drawn from the NMC AY 2026–27 PG seat matrix, the NMC College & Course Search and NBEMS specialty-wise statistics. These sources answer different questions and are not merged into a single count.

| NMC seat matrix | Approved MD/MS seat capacity in the dated academic-year snapshot. |
| NMC course records | College/course records returned by the live search; this is not a seat total. |
| NBEMS seats | Accredited DNB/DrNB/FNB seats listed by NBEMS; counselling availability can differ. |
