Privacy policy

This policy explains what information is processed when you use MedCareer Atlas (medcareeratlas.in), which is operated by SigmaMozak Solutions Pvt Ltd (“we”, “us”). It describes how the site works today. If we add features that collect more information, we will update this policy before those features go live.
The short version
- You can use the whole site without creating an account. You only provide your name, email address and message if you choose to contact us.
- We do not set cookies, and we do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- Our hosting provider and font provider receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, when your browser loads the site. This is explained below.
- If you email us or use the contact form, we use the information you provide only to reply, investigate corrections or source questions, handle partnership enquiries, and act on your request.
Information processed when you visit
Hosting. The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify’s servers receive technical information when your browser requests a page: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. Netlify uses this information to deliver the site, keep it secure and prevent abuse, under its own privacy policy. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. When they load, Google receives your IP address and browser information, under Google’s privacy policy.
Copy link. The “Copy comparison link” button copies the current page address to your device’s clipboard. Nothing is sent to us.
Information you send us
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, contact reason, message and any page URL you choose to provide. If you email us directly, we receive your email address, your name if included, and the content of your message.
Contact-form submissions are processed by Netlify so that the form can be delivered to us and protected from abuse. We use submitted information only to respond, investigate and correct issues, answer data or source questions, consider partnership enquiries, and maintain appropriate correction or correspondence records. We do not use contact submissions for advertising or add you to a mailing list.
We retain messages only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, to maintain correction records, or to meet applicable legal obligations.
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and maintain an accurate correction record, and then delete it.
External links
MedCareer Atlas links to regulators, government publications, research papers and job sites. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control. Check their policies before giving them personal information.
Who the site is for
The site is intended for medical graduates, doctors and other adults researching healthcare careers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and raise a grievance about how it is handled. To do any of these, email info@medcareeratlas.in. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
